In 2007, John and Yunhee Yoon founded Amadeus Strings. John’s love for playing violin grew into a passion alongside teaching and engineering. After settling down in Poughkeepsie, NY, John soon saw as a conductor and music director at his church — and as a father whose daughter was beginning to learn violin — that Hudson Valley music students had a hard time finding quality and affordable instruments on which to grow their love of music and their confidence as young musicians.
